Your buyer’s picker is built live. The coins offered at a checkout are read from the crypto rail at that moment, so a coin the rail has switched off does not appear and cannot be paid to — and anything the rail offers beyond this list is still offered rather than hidden. That is why no page here prints a round number of “supported currencies”: the true answer is whatever the rail says when your buyer arrives.
A coin that is not enabled on the rail is refused before a payment is ever created, so a buyer cannot be sent to an address for something that would bounce. If the rail cannot be reached at all, the checkout says so rather than showing an empty picker. A store with no payout wallet saved does not offer the option in the first place.
Where the money goes
The same place all your money goes on Dues: an account you own. You save a payout wallet and its chain in the dashboard, and every payment is created carrying that address, so settlement is a transfer out to you rather than a balance sitting somewhere with your name on it.
- No wallet, no sale. If a store has crypto switched on but no payout address saved, checkout refuses and says so. Money Dues would have to hold is money Dues will not take.
- You pick the chain. The wallet is checked against the real rules of that chain before it saves, and typed a second time to confirm — an on-chain transfer cannot be undone.
- The role lands on a finished payment. Not on a pending one, and not on a short one: an underpayment stays open and the seller is told, rather than access being handed out for money that did not fully arrive.
Crypto is opt-in per store, and it is still being rolled out. Until it reaches your store, card checkout is what your buyers see — on your own Stripe account, at 0% platform fee, as always.
The rail’s own current list
Dues’ crypto rail is NOWPayments. They publish a per-coin page showing what is available for payments and withdrawals right now, along with each coin’s minimum payment amount — that page, not this one, is the live answer to “can I pay in X today?”:
- nowpayments.io/status-page — per-coin availability and minimums, updated by the provider.
Minimums matter more than the list does. Every coin has a floor below which a payment cannot be made, it differs per pair, and Dues quotes it from the rail at checkout for the exact pair the buyer is on rather than guessing.
Frequently asked
Which cryptocurrencies can I accept?
The 23 listed on this page. What a buyer is actually offered is read from the crypto rail live at checkout — anything the rail offers beyond this list is still offered, and anything it has switched off does not appear. That is why no page here prints a fixed number of "supported currencies".
Which chain should I take payouts on?
Whichever one you actually hold. A payout is an on-chain transfer and its fee is flat, so on an expensive chain it can cost more than a small membership is worth — that is worth knowing when you pick, and the current cost of a transfer on any chain is the chain’s business, not ours to quote.
Where does the crypto go?
To the wallet you nominate, on the chain you nominate. Every payment is created with your payout address on it, and a store with no wallet saved cannot start a crypto checkout at all — Dues refuses rather than take money it would have to hold.
Do I have to take crypto?
No. Card checkout runs on your own Stripe account and needs nothing else. Crypto is opt-in per store: it appears only once you have saved a payout wallet and chain.
